Can you spot Barry?

Beat the 27-second record to spot Barry the construction worker hidden in the workplace. And Barry has a message for this year’s GCSE and A-Level graduates.

After months in lockdown we’ve had to find other ways to entertain ourselves outside of socialising and holidays. Forget gardening, the biggest craze now is brainteaser puzzles with hidden pictures.

Here at BPH Plant Hire we like to take on a challenge, so we have created our very own mindbender. Move over ‘Where’s Wally?’, we’d like to introduce ‘Barry the builder’, but you’ll have to find him first.

Can you locate Barry from the busy building site? The current record stands at 27 seconds, although most people take an average of 1 minute and 23 seconds to find him amongst the houses, dumper trucks and dozers.

Barry makes an appearance after a confusing summer for many young people following the announcement of the GCSE and A-Level results. If you’re one of this year’s leavers and have been left feeling disheartened or confused about your future we’ve got a message just for you.

It’s time to be like Barry.

Whether students achieved the grades they were expecting or not, Barry the builder was designed to encourage those put off further education, particularly university, that vocational apprenticeships offer an ideal way to find a rewarding career.

Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16 and over and enable you to learn on the job while getting paid. If, like Barry, you’re interested in a career in construction, an apprenticeship could be the first step towards your future.
